The Chelsea is the definitive cap-toe oxford and our most popular model. It's easily distinguished by its signature swan's neck stitch across the facing, a detail originating in the 1930s and revived by the late John Hlustik, our legendary former custodian. 

The choice of last has a strong influence on the Chelsea’s character: on the 202 it’s the epitome of old world St James’s, whilst on the 82 it's the perfect choice for modern formalwear - and now it's also available on the 915 last, for a sharper, more sartorial look. This timeless oxford is available in black and dark oak antique on all lasts, in chestnut antique on the 202, mink suede on the 82, and nightshade antique on the 915. A practical rubber-soled black Chelsea is also available on the 82 last.
