Waxed suede is a robust hardwearing leather, perfect for rugged styles to pair with denim and workwear. 

 

Our waxed suede is tanned in Leeds and is true to that great city’s straightforward, no-nonsense character. It’s a highly practical leather which scuffs and gains character as it’s worn.

 

You can re-wax to keep a well-oiled dark near-black or you can leave the waxed suede to dry out and have a lighter chalkier character. Iron is a reddish to dark brown; Storm is a light charcoal to off-black; Khaki is an olive to dark bottle green.

 

We have four styles in the range — the Govan chelsea boot, Lanark chukka boot, Ambleside field boot and Leith derby. All our lined with a supple burgundy delapre matte calf.
