The loafer is the epitome of relaxed summer style.

Whether it be for wearing with shorts in the sun or for softening the edges of your tailoring, when you slip into loafers, you slip into summer.

Our workshop has been crafting loafers since the 1920s when we made ‘house shoes’ for that icon of twentieth-century menswear, Edward, Duke of Windsor.

This year our classic penny loafer - the Piccadilly - is available with an unlined construction which makes it lighter, softer and more flexible. Select from mink suede, raw umber or dark brown London Grain or choose a classic lined Piccadilly in a range of calfskins and suedes.

We also introduce the Draycott, an elegant new whole-cut slip-on with a raised apron.

The tassel loafer is very much back in-style. Choose from our classic Belgravia, with it’s unmistakeable braided trim; the Greenwich, with it’s clean lines; or the unlined Cromer, an ideal casual interpretation of this preppy classic.

The Duke is our round-toed loafer, made on the walled 137 last, and was a style that we once made for Edward, Duke of Windsor. This year we’ve added to the classic calf make-ups and supple unlined suedes with a contemporary interpretation in waxed hatchgrain utah calf with a more substantial tapered rubber sole.

And don't forget the range of light unlined travel slippers such as the Portland, Polperro and Penzance.
