The loafer is the epitome of relaxed summer style.

Whether it be for wearing with shorts in the sun or for softening the edges of your tailoring, when you slip into loafers, you slip into summer.

Our workshop has been crafting loafers since the 1920s when we made ‘house shoes’ for that icon of twentieth-century menswear, Edward, Duke of Windsor.

We have added to our unlined collection with the Hampton, a new saddleless loafer, and fresh colourways of the unlined Piccadilly and Belgravia.

An unlined construction makes for a lighter, softer and more flexible shoe, ideal for summer and today's relaxed style.

The Duke is our round-toed loafer, made on the walled 137 last, and was a style that we once made for Edward, Duke of Windsor. This year we’ve added to the classic calf make-ups and supple unlined suedes with a contemporary interpretation in waxed hatchgrain utah calf with a more substantial tapered rubber sole.

And don't forget the range of light unlined travel slippers such as the Portland and Polperro.
